Prairie Mantel Clock with Copper Face and Pendulum

Classic craftsmanship with a timeless style! Honoring the aesthetics and principles of the 20th-century Prairie School Movement in art and architecture, the clock is handcrafted with traditional joinery by furniture designer Desmond Suarez. The Prairie Mantel Clock consists of natural kiln-dried cherry wood native to the Appalachian mountains, framing a clock-face of hand-tooled patina copper behind glass. The handsome merger of materials is further accented with the addition of a copper pendulum with the same rich green patina. A meticulously hand-rubbed finish of beeswax and mineral oil protects and optimizes the natural look of the cherry. Measuring a full 12″ tall x 12.5″ wide, the clock features a strong magnetic back cover, quartz movement, and certified sustainable wood. Requires 1 AA battery. Handcrafted in North Carolina.
